OVG and Mtn West Technologies Unveil the Rebranded Speedgoat Internet Entrance at the Ford Wyoming Center
The Casper Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM to celebrate the completion of a significant project by Mountain West Technologies. The event will be held at the newly named Speedgoat Internet entrance, located at the north entrance of the Ford Wyoming Center, 1 Events Drive, Casper, WY. Mountain West Technologies has successfully installed a cutting-edge fiberoptic internet infrastructure and a state-of-the-art WiFi system within the Ford Wyoming Center. This advancement will provide high-speed, free public Wi-Fi to all visitors, with the capacity to support over 6,000 simultaneous connections. This project marks a major step forward in enhancing the connectivity and overall experience for guests, vendors, and administration at the Ford Wyoming Center. The ribbon-cutting event will also serve to officially announce the renaming of the north entrance to the Speedgoat Internet Entrance. In addition to the entrance rebranding, the project includes the introduction of the new Speedgoat Fast Lane Entrances, designed to further improve access and convenience for guests. The City of Casper selected Mountain West Technologies from a competitive RFP process to supply the internet and Wi-Fi services to the Ford Wyoming Center, which Oak View Group manages. This partnership underscores Mountain West Technologies' commitment to delivering top-tier connectivity solutions to the community and solidifying its role as a key player in Wyoming’s technological advancement. “We’re thrilled to have partnered with the City of Casper and Oak View Group to bring this vital infrastructure to the Ford Wyoming Center,” said Matt Kadlick from Mountain West Technologies. “This new system will ensure that the Ford Wyoming Center and all visitors have access to reliable, high-speed internet, making it a more connected and enjoyable space for everyone.” Local officials, community leaders, and representatives from Mountain West Technologies, and the Oakview Group, will attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event is open to the public, and everyone is invited to join in the celebration.
